After an early breakfast, the group checks out of the hotel and heads to Tsfat, a center of Jewish mysticism for hundreds of years and a contemporary artists’ colony. During the visit, they experience a glass blowing demonstration by Sheva Chaya in her studio. This is followed by a guided visit to a couple of Synagogues and a stroll through the quaint Artists’ colony.
After lunch, the group visits Kibutz Degania bet for a chocolate making workship at the Galita Factory.
The group then heads south along the Jordan Valley, part of the enormous Syrian-African Rift, and west across the Judean Desert to Jerusalem, where they stop at Mount Scopus for an overlook of the Old and New City of Jerusalem and a brief prayer.
The group then heads to the Mt. Zion Hotel to check in and freshen up for dinner. The Rootber’s and the Powder’s head to the German Village and visit the restaurant Caffit
